If you are a power generator, utility, or a broker or trader of environmentally related commodities in Illinois, Iowa, Manitoba, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Wisconsin and wish to participate in this regional REC market, we recommend that you do two things:

M-RETS Operations Commence, Registration Opens
July 2nd, 2007

M-RETS will launch on July 2nd and registration will open for participants who wish to participate in the market. All participants in the M-RETS market need to register as of July 2nd in order to buy, sell, originate, or track RECS in the region.
